Rasta Tent

Though I sit
Solitarily
I do have
Pleasant company

The presence of
A lifelong friend
On whom I know
I can depend

To sooth ill temper
Ease my sleep
Cheer me when
I tend to weep

Assist me
Meditation to
Add balance to
My point of view

Lift me up
Yet calm me down
Eliminate
My cranky frown

Open to
Philosophy
My mind explores
More peacefully

Rememb’ring to
Luxuriate
In all that the
Divine create

A heart more
Cheerfully aware
And body pain
Sees fit to spare

With spirit
Upward blossoming
Its gratitude
To heaven bring

Companion of
Such quality
Just makes sense to
Keep near to me

Daily communion
So superb
Enabled by
My buddy Herb
