Searching for Today’s Space

(Not as easy as you’d think)


Not in front of someone’s home or business

Not so far from someone’s home (or the firehouse, God bless ‘em) that I can’t at least be heard if I scream

Legal according to postings

Near enough to public land for the rinsing of ice and beverage containers without offense

Quiet enough for meditation and online work

Reasonably level for sitting with an already painful back

Pointing toward the sun for solar energy harvest with which to remain online

No place they’ve already had to put up with my presence within the last couple of days
